(AG=94) The 2012 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is one of the riper, racier wines in this range. Sweet floral notes meld into a core of red berries, mint, and sweet spices. This is a very typical 2012 Barolo that already drinks well early. Expansive and voluptuous to the core, the Rocche is probably the first of these 2012s that I would choose to open. This is a very typical Barolo from one of La Morra's finest sites.
(JS=94) A fresh and clean Barolo with sweet cherry, cedar, and light earth aromas and flavors. Full-bodied yet vibrant and clean. Light cedar and citrus undertone. Pretty sweet with ripe fruit.
