(AG=91) Bright straw-yellow. Musky, complex nose combines guava, lichee, honey, white flowers and vanilla bean. Juicy and spicy in the mouth, with tropical fruit cocktail flavors complicated by a hint of roasted garlic. The finish is bright, sweet and long. Bott told me he doesn't make too many SGN pinot gris wines because he'd rather use his grapes to make the best possible drier-style wines.
